Big Beary Debuts on Steelers Opening Day

oneBURGH Curse: Yesterday, Big Beary Bonds made his debut. 30 feet of pure inflatable Pittsburgh.  

Several people noticed that Beary was taken down in the middle of the fourth quarter. Our generator stopped momentarily. We decided not to reinflate him. We thought everyone in the stadium saw him AND Fox wasn’t doing any flyover shots.

Within minutes, Kaleb Johnson muffed the opening kickoff and the Steelers’ day was over as well. We lost.

oneBURGH members were quick to point out that the Steelers lost the game after Beary was prematurely taken down.

We hear you. We are reviewing this internally. As we set rules for Big Beary, keeping him up during the entire game will now be rule number one.
