Featured here is Charles Ott's newest illustration honoring the Pittsburgh Pirates' Josh Harrison who single-handily is setting the baseball world on fire and is the talk of the town in Pittsburgh. Josh Harrison is a professional baseball utility player with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 2008 MLB draft and traded to the Pirates the following year where he made his major league debut in 2011. Throughout the 2014 baseball season, he has catapulted himself to legendary status. He has been the Pirates' go to guy game in and game out with his ability to make things happen both offensively and defensively. His two base running rundown escapades this season were magical athleticism at its very best. Harrison appeared in his first MLB All-Star game with fellow teammates Andrew McCutchen and Tony Watson. Harrison received the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Pirates Heart & Hustle award. His personal stats since the All-Star game are staggering and catching the eye of many throughout MLB. In my opinion, he deserves the NL MVP title and it makes you wonder what else this young guy has up his sleeve as he continues to blossom in his career.
