On March 1 the Penguins will play their third outdoor game against the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks at Soldier Field as part of the NHL’s Stadium Series.
The 2014 NHL Stadium Series (branded the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series) is an ongoing series of four outdoor regular season National Hockey League games.
The Penguins have been a part of two other Winter Classics: 2008 in Buffalo’s Ralph Wilson Stadium and against Washington in Heinz Field in 2011.
Marc-Andre Fleury will be wearing Steelers inspired helmet and pads on Saturday for the Stadium Series game with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Check out this video courtesy of pittsburghpenguins.com detailing how these pads came to be:

On Saturday, February 22 Le’veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers held his first public signing appearance as a Steeler in Harrisburg, PA. The crowd was diverse, from giggling babies to the “old-timers”, but there was one sentiment by all – Le’veon Bell is one cool dude.
No matter what the crowd asked him to sign, Le’veon did it with a smile. Each person in line got to have something signed from Le’veon, ask him a question or two and then got a quick snapshot of the experience. See the gallery below for other images from the signing.
Le’veon is quickly becoming the hero of Steelers fans for not only his quick and nimble feet and high flying leaps over opponents but also his desire to lower his shoulder and grind out those last two yards.
TSE also has relationships with just about everyone in the sports memorabilia industry and as a result can pull together private and public signings that few companies can provide. Just last month TSE put on the Signing with the Stars event in The Mall at Robinson that featured seven different Pittsburgh Penguins, including Evgeni Malkin, James Neal, Craig Adams, Deryk Engelland, Joe Vitale, Robert Bortuzzo and “the ole’ two-niner” Phil Bourque.
TSE has a number of signing coming in the near future, including: Chantilly, VA with the following Steelers: LeVeon Bell, Jerome Bettis, Rocky Bleier, Mel Blount, Antonio Brown, Dermontti Dawson, Terry Hanratty, Jack Lambert, Louis Lipps, Greg Lloyd, Donnie Shell and Rod Woodson.
